About Cleveland INKubator |
The Inkubator was created in 2016 by Lee Chilcote, Amy Rosenbluth and a grassroots committee to offer a free, community-based writers' conference for teens and adults. The event was made possible by the support of Cleveland Public Library, the Gund Foundation, and the Garden Hill Fund of the Mountain School at Milton Academy. Following the successful launch of the Inkubator, Lee Chilcote and the group worked to form Literary Cleveland, a community of writers and readers. Now in its second year, the Inkubator offers workshops, craft talks, readings and performance opportunities for residents of Northeast Ohio and beyond.
* Workshops in fiction, nonfiction, poetry & more
* Readings and performances by local authors & teen writers
* Craft talks on publishing, comics, writing for a living and more
* Resource fair for writers with independent booksellers
* Open mic in the Eastman Reading Garden
